Programmatic Accreditation Disclosure

Effective February 18, 2022, the Accredited Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) has directed Herzing University located in Metairie, LA to disclose to enrolled and prospective students that it is required to submit a teach-out plan as part of a show-cause directive due to failure to administer to each student an examination by a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency after completion of the curriculum and prior to graduation. Please note, due to the COVID-19 pandemic several students needed additional time to complete clinical coursework which resulted in what appears to be a violation of the standard. Herzing University – New Orleans (Metairie, LA) has surpassed the licensure pass rate required for compliance in the 2020-2021 timeframe.
